Horrors of 1947 can't never be forgotten : Jugal Kishore MP

Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament Lok Sabha Jammu today on "Vibhajan Vibhishika Samriti Diwas" interacted with the families of refugees at Border village Treva in Bishnah Constituency and shared their pains & memories of 1947.He also led silent procession in order to pay tribute to the people who sacrificed their lives during partition in 1947.

Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore while interacting with the families of refugees & public at a occasion in Treva in Arnia said that Horrors of 1947 can't never be forgotten.He said that our Independence has a long history behind itself and every Indian should remember of it.He said that people have faced very harsh times during time of partition.He said that the pain of partition of the country can never be forgotten.

Because of hatred and violence, lakhs of our sisters and brothers were displaced and even lost their lives.He said that we are celebrating our Independence from 75 years without remembering those people who have lost their lives during partition in 1947.Our Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi Ji has decided to observe August 14 as Partition Horrors remembrance day.

He said that partition was accepted by Congress Government under the leadership of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and result of it more than 6 lakh people were killed,1 crore 50 lakh people lost their homes and one lakh women have to face cruelty.He said that today is the day we are remembering those people who have lost their lives due to ill treaty of Congress.But now people are much aware of Congress's vested agendas.Remembering the horrors of 1947 serves as a reminder of the consequences of division, the importance of unity and the need to prevent such tragedies in the future. It promotes understanding, tolerance and empathy while honoring the memory of those who suffered,he said.
